This chapter is called Surah Al-Duha, and starts with an oath by Duha, therefore it has come to be known by this name. The word Duha is about a specific time, namely the peak time during the morning brightness. The time of Duha is the same time in which Prophet Musa spoke to Allah, and also the same time in which he defeated the magicians of Pharaoh. Introduction

Name of Chapter and Reason for its Name

This chapter is called Surah Al-Duha, and starts with an oath by Duha, therefore it has come to be known by this name. The word Duha is about a specific time, namely the peak time during the morning brightness.
